Terms
& Conditions

We welcome new riders to ride with Veloto as invitees on a trial basis for a few rides. Thereafter we require all riders to be members. Payment of the fee grants you membership until the end of the year in which you joined. Membership renewals will be issued in January of each year.

Veloto rides are not coached sessions and there is not an organiser with legal responsibility for other riders. A club ride is simply a group of riders on a joint excursion on the open road which may include sections on busy roads. Members who wish to join our group  should be experienced at and comfortable in group riding.

Membership of Veloto does not include any form of insurance cover. We recommend that all members join and obtain insurance.

As a club member your information may be shared on the club website, social media pages or in emails sent by the club. This data will only be shared in the event that you are a club member or volunteer, have participated in a ride or event or have recorded a major achievement. This data will be limited to your name and details of your achievement. Limited further information about you may be included; for example, whether you have participated in a juniors’ race or a women’s race. By becoming a member you also have read and agree with our Privacy Policy below.
